About that, is there any program to replace this led, to tell if the cam is turned on?

The obviously changed it with the G71v then as that has a green LED show up beside the web cam when its in use.

That's just a bad design to not know when the camera is in use, means spyware can turn it on for people without you knowing (brings real life meaning to spyware)
