    Its not dif proportion lmao and yeas it is simple as drop, screw, plug and play. Screen is same size, depth, ratio, etc. Not too mention AGAIN the same company.

    Doesn't mean anything. One company can OEM for many different builders, and it is improbable that two panels of different resolution will have the exact same connections, and even more improbable that your G50 (designed and built around a certain panel) will drive a panel of higher resolution. Again, I speak from experience and would highly discourage this endeavor.

    well I will try it and it will most likely work as I have changed many lcd screens on laptops such as my old m9700, and xps m1710, both with resolutions not offered by those manufacturers..

    So due to the heat my room loves to absorb, I was forced to buy some as5, a zalman cooler and a razor keyboard(so I can finally sit back in my chair). The screen will have to be held off for 2 weeks.

    Heh I am getting ready to start experimenting with connecting the heat pipe fins to the coolers aluminum surface using cut up soda cans.

    You shuld buy some copper and tack weld it on...If I can find another g50 cooling system I'll gladly experiment.
