    Anyone know if the 9 cell battery is larger than the 6 cell?
    Does it stick out?

    It does stick out the back. I would post a link, but not yet allowed.

    If you google "g50v, 9 cell battery, picture" you'll see a side view of the g50v with the 9 cell.
