I just decided to run Vantage on my notebook and I got the following: (on normal)
P2398 total score
GPU 1874
CPU 14907
GPU Test1: 5.64
GPU Test2: 5.33
CPU Test1: 673.84
CPU Test2: 54.64
Feature Test1: 235.11
Feature Test2: 0.96
Feature Test3: 7.63
Feature Test4: 8.38
Feature Test5: 10.97
Feature Test6: 11.18
It seems my Feature Test 2 &5 is lower than a G50v-A1 which only has a 9700m...
Whats up with that? I have the latest 180.xx WHQL drivers from nvidia on.
I couldnt find any other posts on normal with my notebook to get an idea.
Anyone else have G50vt-a2 and vantage and can run it and post?
-
Ran it again and got
P3035
All the numbers are the same except GPU test1 came to 8.70
But still why are the other GPU number so low -
Even if the drivers are the newest it doesn't mean they will perform best.
Besides, synthetic benchmarks are just that, synthetic... I wouldn't worry too much about a number in a benchmark, if the computer is running fine and meets your real-life performance demands. -
Well me like others, I want more power!
so I just want to make sure everything is right.
G50vt-a2 Vantage score low for GPU?
