My 8GB RAM upgrade should arrive tomorrow, but performance-freak as I am, I've thought about the P9500 to replace the built-in P8400.

Will the extra 3MB cache help with Vista (64-bit) or the Adobe Creative Suite of applications that would make the $360 cost worthwhile?

    Thx much!!

Pretty sweet! If I may field a few questions of my own:
How's the heat management with the x9000-- Do you have to use a cooler or keep the room below a certain temp?
Is battery life significantly different with a 44W CPU?

Also, does anyone know if the g50vt series is quadcore capable?

    Thanks!

Wow, sweet. This is with stock cooling, too?
PS: Your sig should probably say 3.2 GHz ;)

If 3.2 MHz got into dangerous temperatures, we would be in a spot of trouble :p
