I updated my bios version from 205 to 209 last night and everything went well except for after it booted and before windows started I got a checksum error, giving me the option of either configuring it or using default settings. As I dont know to much about computers I chose to use the defaults. Everything seems ok, but I would like it if someone could shed some light as to why and do I need to fix any thing.![]()

It's probably nothing, but always remember, when it comes to the bios...if its not broken, don't fix it...especially if you don't know a lot about computers.

Try resetting to defaults... it usually clears your settings on a bios flash anyway. You'll need to reset anything you had in the BIOS (if anything) but it's not a big deal.

It seems to be working fine. I will keep it the way it is for now, if I run into problems then I will put 205 back on.

Definitely do not do that LOL... 209 solved a lot of issues. What you are experiencing is nothing out of the norm.

So it's nothing to worry about.
G50vt-x1 bios upgrade to 209, slight hiccup.
