    G50vt-x5 260m Swap---Need Help!!!

    Alright right now i have my G50vt sitting with an x9100 in it 4gb ddr2 and a 320gb HDD and 500Gb HDD, as im posting im using my 9800m I have figured out how to get the 260m to work with dox drivers but the problem is i am experiencing blotches on the screen while playing BF:BC2 and after upgrading it to the 195 drivers from dox now it won't play bc2 at all without crashing the system. my question is why will this video card not except standard drivers and if im experiencing blotches and freezing of the screen is that because the video card is already on its last leg or is it just the driver itself? everything under the hood of this laptop has been dosed with GELID Solutions GC-Extreme Thermal Compound which i love very much because everything runs cool with this stuff. Soooo.... Am i just going to have to do the easy way out and just buy a g51vx or am i going to have to possibly figure out a way to put a g51 bios on the chipset for it to verify the video or fake the bios of the 260m.... lol simply put i just need to know how to cure this problem before i loose my mind, all i want is to play BC2 again!!!

    Since, you plan to sell it on NBR, you have to follow the rules. Those rules are listed in the BST rules thread located in the marketplace.

    Once you can comply with the rules by meeting the requirements and filling out a complete BST form, you can make a new thread in the correct forum.
