This is my 2nd REFURB unit that I have gotten from J&R Music World. The first had a malfunction in the graphics gard, had to RMA, and got this one now. Anyways, this current one has a problem with the CTRL keys.

When pushing the left CTRL key, is types the characters nbz, the right CTRL key types mvxc (or something similar). ASUS tech support is almost entirely useless. I want to set up a RAID, and when I enable it in the bios, I'm unable to hit CTRL-I to enter the configuration. I'm also unable to soft reboot by hitting CTRL-ALT-DELETE.

This is a my last effort before RMA'ing this one too, and going with another brand. Is ASUS's quality control really this bad for REFURBS?

If you have any ideas or any solutions, please let me know. This is beyond frustrating!

Hmm....maybe try to force the correct settings by using a program like Autohotkey?
