    G51 - after switching from battery saver to high perf. - color changes to 8 bits

    As the title says. P4G switch from ASUS Battery Saver to ASUS HighPerformance makes my desktop switch to 8 colors. This I assume happened when I was running Age of Empires 2 and switched in game between the two modes.

    Any ideas on how to solve this, except for a reinstall?

    Pretty sure that's just the effect of running an old game and having windows turn aero on/off. It's a power4gear problem, not a windows problem. Disable the battery saver modes that change the deskop and turn off aero inside p4g settings, and it should stop.
