So why not make a thread dedicated to everyone's 3dmark06 score with their G51s and G71s?
I'm going to run mine now actually so I'll update my post in a few minutes.

State your cpu mode/clocked speed, ram, and your gpu clocks!
    Let's Compare!
Btw make sure its on 1280x1024.

    My score= 12,179
    Cpu- x9100 2.44ghz
    Gpu Clocks- 600/1475/950

score in sig, and this isn't an e-peen thread I think it's more of what the g51 series is able to achieve.

That is nothing. Do you want me to bust out my 4 year old Pentium 4 trotting Radeon X300 using desktop? I believe it scored something like 230 in 3DMark06 last time I checked.

Don't make me whip out my dad's six year old Gateway complete with a P4 and integrated graphics.

If 3Dmark would run on it, I'd post the PC I got free from my spanish teacher in my Freshman year of HS....333mhz CPU and 64MB of PC100 ram. :D

wow you guys really need to run at 1280x1024 to compare against. try using an external monitor or all the X1A/X2A/A1 users should use 1280x768. it will be much easier to compare like that. Hopefully with my new comp is arriving on monday and will run it. hopefully with all optimizations (DOX, gpu OC, CPU OC) i can get 11,000? or is that too much?

With a Quad, 11K in 3DMark06 should be relatively easy. You'll probably just have to do a little bit of overclocking.

Well, with my A1, with stock voltages and clocks, using DOS 185.85, I have achieved 10,405.

    Edit-Whoops
Oh wow, nvm. this was on extreme turbo mode. I pulled up the wrong screenshot.

I was wondering why i wasn't getting as high anymore.

Well I hit 12k plus at 1280x1024 on an external. I stated to use this when I started the thread so you should read all pages before posting.

^ yep just trying to remind ppl again and again. It is really useless if someone tells us they got 12K to find out he did 1280x768 instead of standard Res.

Please don't make me get out the old IBM from 1999. No joke, it's down in the shed somewhere, I should bring it up someday to have a tinker with.

    64MB RAM
    AMD K6-2 450Mhz
    8MB VRAM
    8GB HDD

It came pre-installed with Windows 98, and I don't know how, but it actually runs XP.

And the funniest thing is that the max resolution it could output is 1280 x 1024. :D

This thread makes me want to go all out and get an x9100 to put in my G51V-RX05... Anyways, I'm at college currently and I didn't bring an external with me, but the max I've been able to put up in 1280x768 was 11038; CPU @ 2.5 GHz, GPU at 625/925/1562, using DOX 185.85 drivers. CPU refused to let me slide the FSB any more than that, and even attempts at 632/925/1580 gave me stability issues. I'll try it again today though.

Drop that memory clock down and boost the Core/Shader clocks. 650/1625 is about as high as you can go, but you might not be able to run 3DMark that high (voltage on the card isn't enough). The clocks in my sig are the highest stable, for my card at least.

just did it on my A1 with 2.35GHz, 585/950/1500 and got 10720. must be the crapload of services (74 processes, havent cleaned it up yet....) that i have running. i got 10720 @ standard (pm me for professional codes...hehehehe). i dont feel like cleaning up everyithng and im gonna wait till win7 comes out b4 making a nice clean install.
