    Hey there,

I've had the laptop for about 5 months or so. Recently I've noticed that the spacebar is starting to squeak a little whenever I press it. Maybe its a bit of a nitpicky thing, but its driving me mad.

So, where am I going with this? Obviously I don't want to hear that infuriating squeak. I'm not sure how to go about it though. I've searched for a disassembly guide for this model, but I can't find it anywhere. If you have it or know where it is, if you could throw me a bone I'd appreciate it.

A side note, the mouse that came with the laptop (Razor Copperhead) also has a squeak problem with both the buttons and the scroll wheel, but apparently its fairly common for the mouse. The mouse was an easy fix with a bit of grease, but I'm worried the laptop might not be as simple. Imagine... a squeaky mouse :p

Hm, weird. My spacebar had a squeak when I got my G50vt-X1 but that went away after less than a week.

i had a similar problem a week ago. pushing the spacebar near the right side made a squeak, but left was ok. after a bit of mashing it seems to be mostly gone, or at least not audible to the point of being distracting like before.
