My first G51vx also had a squeaking noise on the space bar. Every now and then it would go away.

I took it back, but not because of the squaking, but because my keaboard came broken (popped out of place and wouldn't get back on place no matter what).

I never really cared for the sound, so it is up to you.

    Hi!
I just have a doubt, I'm buying this laptop, but the seller says me that if I want the bundle(mouse, backpack and Eee Stick) I have to pay $159 more. Is that true? is the laptop sold alone(no bundle)?
    Thanks!!!

how much is he selling just the laptop for? if its sub-1500 then, he has opened the laptop case and taken out the mouse/bag/eee sticks (which arent worth 160USD, i got the whole A1 package for 1252USD HEHE). if you are paying about 1500USD with the 159USD package, then thats about rite. i would reccomend you buy from ZipzoomFly, good service. got it through there with 91USD mail-in-rebate that arrived today + 336USD bing cashback (sorry you cant use that deal anymore...it was like valid only for a week, i was like the only lucky one on NBR who snatched the deal).

i think they have it for 1600USD - 100USD rebate. not sure if the rebate is still open to use even.

What does this have to do with a space bar squeak?

Anyways no its not a normal key pressing down. Its kinda like.... hmm im trying to find a real life reference that everyone has heard. Its weird its only on one side and thats the right side of the space bar. its kinda like a squeaky step when all others are solid.
