hey there, just looking for a little hand here...not a big problem, but it's a bit bugging: I received my laptop yesterday and I did some optimizing (both Vista and Hardware) but i lost the trackpad options...I mean, i cant use the disable button, nor can i use the scroll or change sensitivity....is it a small program that is supposed to run in the backgroud that I accidentally disabled?
Any help appreciated!

Right to the left of your power button is a touch sensitive button that enables or disables your trackpad.

I know...it wont work! the trackpad works, but i cant even disable it with that button or the Fn-F9 key...

Have you disabled or uninstalled the trackpad drivers?
If you haven't there should be an icon in your system try called "synaptic pointing device"
If you have accidentally uninstalled it, the driver should be on your drivers disc -
lol it worked...thanks a lot...I feel dumb now
