    My3 year old HP dv6000 has a better looking screen then this. It has terrible lightbleed terrible viewing angels and terrible blacks. Blacks look gray on this notebook. 1920x1080 is great but man their is NO WAY this is a LED backed screen. At first I though I could get over it but man.... Its hard for me to look at.

    Calibrate your screen first.

    My G60Vx screen is excellent for a laptop display.

    Except I have it turned off, but anyway...

    Get a Dell Studio XPS 16. Nothing beats the LCD on that thing.

    Oh yah, we have been hearing about this screen far and wide in these forums, have you tried using nVidia control panel's Digital Vibrance yet? I found if you turn that way up the blacks and colors really come out, even with horrible screens.
