So far this is the worst laptop I have ever bought, only because of random lockup's. Yesterday's lockup was while converting a song in iTunes, I had to force a shut down and then the Laptop wouldnt re-boot.No lights or anything. I had to remove the battery and boot with the power cord. I always have the laptop plugged in 99% of the time.

Im not sure if its Windows 7 or something else. The only programs I have installed are
    1) iTunes 9.0
    2) Photoshop CS4
    3) Your Uninstaller 2008

Is there any known bugs with Win7 and icore 720? Is there an update to the Bios? Is this a known issue or am I unlucky?

    Any tips would be appreciated.

Have you uninstalled All creative HD sound software and Sound Audigy etc? Those are well known to cause freezing and lock up.

^^^^+1, Removing these cured my Lock-ups when running my Ripping / Burning Software!! This is by far the best Notebook I've ever owned indeed...the "lock-ups" also had me perplexed, but a little research solved the problem, I can guarentee it will solve your "lock-up" issues as well ;)

Hey Ryzeki...where in Mexico you at? Just got back from Manzanillo, had a great time and met many families "holidaying" from both Mexico City and Guadaljara ;)

I haven't gone to Manzanillo lately either, nor to Canada (at all haha) My bro went to halifax if I remember correctly.
