Hi ;) I'm split between the two and I can't make up my mind about which one to buy... so some spects on both laptops...

    Asus G51J-3D:
    Processor 1.6GHz Intel Core i7 720QM
    Memory 4GB, 1,066MHz DDR3
    Hard drive 320GB 7,200rpm (x2)
Chipset Mobile Intel PM55 Express Chipset
    Graphics Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M 1GB DDR3
Display 120Hz LED backlit LCD (1,366x768)

Now the thing that worries me about this laptop is that it has a low resoliution and it might be crappy for watching movies or using a bigger monitor... and the GPU will heat alot and will suck alot of power...

    Asus G51Jx-A1:
    Processor 1.6GHz Intel Core i7 720QM
    Memory 6GB, 1,066MHz DDR3
    Hard drive 500GB 7,200rpm
Chipset Mobile Intel PM55 Express Chipset
    Graphics nVidia GTS 360M 1GB GDDR5
    Display WUXGA FHD Color-Shine (Glare-type) (1920x1080)

What I like about this one is that it has a bigger resolution and more ram, but the GPU has less of everything compared to the GTX 260m the only thing that beats the 260m is that it's overclocked to 2000Mhz and the 260m is just 950 Mhz... Soooo 360m is cooler and more power efficient...

The reason I choose between these two laptops is that I can get them very very cheap but only these (and G51Jx-x3 but it has a Core i5 and I want something that will last longer)

The price difference that I'll get is around 140$ which isn't much...
But as I say the first has a more powerfull Gpu and 3D but low res and will heat and suck power and the other larger res, larger ram, cooler, power efficient but less shaders and... no 3D... and I'm curious if the 3D will be actualy worth it on a 15.6" display and I don't know if I could wach movies in 3d and stuff...

    Soooo please help :)

The 3d is just for games I think.
also I consider it as giving you "basic 3d" for the future as this tech could change and improve really quickly.

I think the a1 will probably give better gaming pref overall as you can overclock it , while the 3d version will be limited in overclocking potential due to heat.

Thanks ;) I most probably go with the A1 because has more ram and I still can play 3D just need a 120Mhz screen and some software + glasses ;]
