I'm going to have to be flying for business next week, and I'm looking to see if there will be a way to use my laptop while I'm in flight. The battery wouldn't last nearly long enough (flying from the midwest to the west coast) so I'm trying to find something that I can use that will plug into the outlets on airplanes to power my laptop.
Will something like this work for me (in conjunction with the AC adapter that came with my laptop)? Or do I need to find something else? Any suggestions are surely welcomed.![]()

The connector used varies by the airline, and some doesn't provide any connection at all.Anyway, NONE uses standard car type connectors . What you need is an DC-DC converter with the type of plug the airline use, and type of plug the laptop uses, with the same voltage and with enough amperage(probably harder to find), or an DC-AC so you can plug your laptop power supply.
