My g51jx-a1 isn't detecting my sd card when I pop it into the slot?

    Any ideas?

What OS are you running, and 32 bit or 64 bit?

Reinstalling the media card reader would be my first line of attack.

Mine has done that a few times. Sometimes re-inserting the card works and sometimes a reboot is needed.
