Can someone tell me the differences between these 2, other than ram and price? 2Gb of ram isn't worth 150$ to me, there has to be something that I am missing.

Are there core differences between the A and X line? Is the X1 line only sold by certain e-tailers?

Yeah, it's almost a deal breaker for me.

XoticPC has the G51JX-A1 (with backpack, Razer gaming mouse, and +2GB DDR3) for $1,404.81 with no tax and free shipping.

We'll see how antsy I get. I already have a 15.4" case, which I'm sure would work for a 15.6" laptop.

I haven't ordered anything yet, but I'd really like to customize and have a total of 8GB RAM and an extra AC adapter for my office so I don't have to lug one around.

I don't think it comes with Asus 2 Year Limited Global Warranty, or does it?

I'm sure it comes with the 2 year warranty as well. They did just put it up on their website so they may have overlooked that. I don't see why it wouldn't. The G51Vx-X3a has the 2 year and 1 year accidental.

Yeah I think this is more an ASUS thing, not Newegg. I'm sure they overlooked it like brochiller says.

I couldn't imagine being an employee that has to enter all of that crap into their online database. I picture it being as bad as telemarketing.
