    G51JX-X1 or not?

    Do the pros outweigh the cons? I know it has BSoD problems but have they been fixed yet? Also if I didn't misread, I seem to recall seeing a thread about failing to install webcam drivers. Has this been fixed also? Most importantly, should I get it now or what.

    In my opinion and after 3 RMAs with a G51J-A1, I would not recommend any model of the G51 series. I can say that the build quality is very good, the screen is offering beautiful images, it containing plenty of powrfull hardware BUT they all seem to overheat, the fans are so noisy while playing demanding games that you are only hearing it, the lights on the side can be viewed in screen when the light is low (it wasn't possible to deactivate it), the gpu isn't performing as you could imagine and I saw so many threads about BSODs for this series. Again, this is only my opinion and I can say that after I saw a G73, it will be easy for me to choose ;).

    That specific BSOD issue is only associate with the G51J models. The G51vx and G60vx don't suffer from the problem and neither does the G60jx I believe.
