upgrading my g51vx (vistaHP)to win 7(professional) is actually quite easy,
FYI you can't upgrade vista HP to Win7 Professional so you have to do it the "clean installation" way, if you want to partition the drives again you need to load it onto a bootable disc or USB, otherwise if you keep you current setup it will save the vista OS in a folder in win7 called "windows.old" which in my csae i did though the folder came up to 60gb or something (cuz i didnt erase any of my special downloads is the likely culprit why so large)
I ordered it from the windows 7 student deal and downloaded the files and installed right from my desktop. during my process of installing i came across something i cant figure out
![]()
i keep getting this on startup, it has something to do with the realtek drivers,
I've already installed and reinstalled the RT drivers from ASUS and then the current set from realtek themselves and still nothing.
kinda driving me crazy here i've been at it all night and i may just revert back to factory vista
any help appreciated
