This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     G51VX-A1 hdmi out issue with windows 7.

    When i had vista, I could output HMDI easily by hitting the function key and toggling the hdmi output. On the screen, a small icon would appear which would either say LCD only, LCD + HDMI, or HDMI only. Now that i have upgraded to win 7, I only get the LCD only icon. Even if i push the toggle key many times, it just keeps popping up as LCD only. I'm using the Dox Driver forceware 185.85. Again, the HDMI output worked fine with vista.
