    Hi, guys!
    Nice to meet you guys!
    I'm new here~! ^^
recently I bought G51VX BB version on the web, and I think its gotta some
problems with it. I hope this forum will solve the problem! ^^

    p7350 // gtx260m // win7 64bit or 32bit

    1. When I try to do system rating thing on control panel, It is like
it is processing this job, but after about 15sec, it shuts down without any
    notice.

    2. When I play CoD MW2 on this laptop, it shuts down right after about
    five seconds.

I thought my laptop had the overheating problem, so I did something for it.

    1. replace thermal(MX-3) paste on the cpu, gpu.
    2. I have installed nvidia driver over ten times. (it include dox's, asus's and
also nividia's) also, tried powermizer thing, but it did not solve the problem.
    3. I think this laptop's temp is not bad relatively compared to the other ones'.
    (around 65 ~85 degree GPU // 35 ~ 45 degree CPU by gpu-z, speed fan)
now I uninstalled speedfan, coz some said it would affect function of the fan.
    4. even I open bottom cover while I use it, and I tried to do windows rating or play COD MW2 with ice pack under the laptop. however, it does not help.
    T.T

I am pretty sure that my laptop has a graphic card problem, but I can not
exactly say which part is making a problem because when I do the windows rating thing of the control panel (which is checking pc's performance) right after finishing installing OS before installing graphic card driver, it worked properly without shutting down. However my laptop's graphical performance got 1.0 point, b/c i did not install GPU Driver.T_T

    WHOO~ HA~

Help me computer doctors, MDs, Ods~!

    * I am using laptop with ac cord without battery pack, bc battery didnt come with the laptop. Will it affect to Graphic card? or power shortage?...
can anyone who has g51vx rx05 try game or windows rating without battery but with ac cord for me? T_T again, Mines shut down w/o any notice.

I gave up tonight, but I will work on it tomorrow.

    Thank you for spending time for reading this horrible ENGLISH!! ^^;;

    Thank you again, guys.

Hmm. Are you able to run any 3D applications at all? Can you, say, run 3DMark06 or Furmark?

Right now I tried 3DMark06 of Futuremark..., but while it was processing,
it shut down without any notice. It was just like somebody unplugged my
    AC power cord.

    Why does it happen?

    Here's my 3rd experiment.

I was trying to test 3dmark06 while i put my bare latop on the motor fan.

lapton did not shut down until test finished. GPU-Z temp. was 35c~42c which

    was pretty cool! :D

so... my conclusion is.. my laptop overheats, and it caused crashing.....

Is there any way to cooling my laptop down?

I already tried compound job what else i need to try again?

    Thank you.
