There gotta be a fix for this. It's extremely annoying. The keyboard sometime does not respond for like a split second then respond again when typing.
You type something and 1 key doesn't work then press it again, and it works. I know people say press harder, but I do press harder.
Maybe I'm missing some kind of driver. I have windows 7. Anyone has a keyboard driver for windows 7?
My driver information:
Keyboard Device Filter:
Driver Date: 1/24/2007
Driver Version: 1.0.0.0
Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard
Driver Date: 6/21/2006
Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385

Oooh noooo. Not the G51 now... this was a G50 problem that was fixed by newer ATK drivers and an updated BIOS.
Here are some hopefully helpful links:

It's probably something to do with Win7 and the drivers... the above links might be workarounds though. -
Thanks for the links, I read them both, but my issue isn't with the freezing / random lockup.
I'll try updating the BIOS. I got the download from the asus website. I'll try to update my ATK drivers and BIOS though. -

Keyboard issue is related to the lockup issue, don't discount it entirely. Probably atk drivers though. Good luck.

Damn, the ATK drivers didn't fix it.
