There gotta be a fix for this. It's extremely annoying. The keyboard sometime does not respond for like a split second then respond again when typing.

You type something and 1 key doesn't work then press it again, and it works. I know people say press harder, but I do press harder.

Maybe I'm missing some kind of driver. I have windows 7. Anyone has a keyboard driver for windows 7?

    My driver information:
    Keyboard Device Filter:
    Driver Date: 1/24/2007
    Driver Version: 1.0.0.0

    Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard
    Driver Date: 6/21/2006
    Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385

I have a similar issue with the A1. Someone said it may have something to do with the Synaptic Pointing Device Drivers

Not real sure on a fix for that

Thanks for the links, I read them both, but my issue isn't with the freezing / random lockup.

I'll try updating the BIOS. I got the download from the asus website. I'll try to update my ATK drivers and BIOS though.

Keyboard issue is related to the lockup issue, don't discount it entirely. Probably atk drivers though. Good luck.

Damn, the ATK drivers didn't fix it.
