Well you wont be able to buy one till 9/21 or 9/14 respectively the earliest from newegg. I would Suggest the either. Depends if you need slighlty more FPS in high end games, it would not be amazing imo for $250 more. Remember both models can overclock the cpu so its not like you set at 2.53 with the x1a.

I'll be playing Aion if that helps. there'll be some times when theres gonna be a ton of people and I'm pretty sure I won't be messing with the overclocking since I don't really wanna mess anything up lol. btw any issues on the heat on X2A? I was reading the review but so far only X1A seems to have a problem?

So far, in comparison. My X1A has been OC'd to 3.1GHz stable, the same *known* speed for the X2A's T series cpu. My CPU never passes 65C, ever. My GPU is idling at 45-46C, and maxes at 93C or so at stock asus clocks. ALL G51VXs, be it RX05, A1, X1A, or X2A, have the same heat issue because they all share the same chassis, and gpu/single fan setup. they are all sub-builds of the same model with different customizations.

Spending the extra $ for the X2A isn't worth it, for that price at some places you could get an A1 (quad cpu+640GB HDD and bluray) especially with bing cashback and the asus MIR.

well i own a x2a and i can tell you I am not disappointing in the slightest. There are very small differences between the x1a and the x2a. Neither will disappoint in most games and I recommend going with the x1a to everyone because there is such a small difference between that and the x2a. I got the x2a because i knew i needed a stronger processor. But if you look at my benchmarks that I have posted here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=5206895, you can expect very similar results with the x1a. I would advise going with the x1a: better bang/buck, the g51's do get hot, so don't be alarmed, but they are solid and made to take the heat.
