Im considering purchasing a new G51Vx off of Newegg and I have two questions before I look into it further. If anyone has it, does the laptop come with the Win7 install disks to do a fresh install, not just a recover. If not, how much bloatware is installed with it? The HP that I have came chuck full of garbage and did not include the fresh install disk, so I was stuck with the extraneous trash that makes it run like a dog.

This was true for Vista laptops, I assume it's true for Win7 too:

    - there are no clean install disks per se, it's an image
    - but you can install from the DVD and choose which (if any) bloatware you want to install. So you can end up with a clean install.

Again for Vista/XP, it was like that:

    1) Install on first partition only, no changes to the partition table.
    2) Format the HDD as one big partition and install to that.
    3) Format the HDD as two partitions, install on the first.
