    G51Vx-X3A left on in laptop bag

    While I was putting the laptop to sleep before I left for a lecture, upon arriving to the lecture I discovered it had somehow never slept during that time.

    Not only was the underside excruciatingly hot, the sides of the lcd were fairly hot, too. Should I expect any problems related to such heat exposure?

    Uhh good point. I would let it cool down, turn it on and look at temps, or use it normally and see if it gets hotter than usual

    Yep - first thing I did was power it down..though it took quite a while to cool down :/
    I'll be sure to monitor that, what software would you recommend to monitor temps on the G51Vx?

    HWMonitor should be good for that job
