    Hey there, I was wondering if there were any valid solutions to getting rid of the blue or red Shield & lightning design on the back. Its (imo) hideous and will disable it from looking professional.

    It looks like its go go power rangers themed

    I'm currently looking at the G51VX or G51JX and complete agree with you. My old M50SA was perfect as it had the gaming power, resolution, etc. but without the tack...IMO... But were now left with the G51's.

    I've been looking at decals that cover the design... more to the point custom decals like Laptop Skins Schtickers Shop Create Participate or plain white or black ones I can cut to shape.

    I also did a quick search on this forum and found posts that talk about disconnecting the lights... its a hardware mod by simply disconnecting some plugs under the display bezel.

    I have a decal girl carbon fiber skin over mine...did it at day 3 of ownership.. theres pics in the old g51Jx thread..

    Hey now the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers were and still are pretty awesome. Dunno if I can say the same for the new ones out there :eek:.
