Hi. I just received my new laptop this weekend. Everything is straight out of the box and I haven't reinstalled the OS or done anything major.

So far I've had this computer freeze on me 3 times: mouse stops responding, screen frozen and after 10 minutes of leaving it alone it never recovers on its own. Every time is happens when I pick it up and carry it while it's on. It doesn't matter if the lid is closed or not. I'm not violently carrying the computer or setting it forcefully on the table. I would consider this normal movement.

I have a G50vt-x6 and I've never seen this problem with it.

Anyway, is anyone else seeing this problem? What should I do? Thanks

Call the place you got it from.
Sounds like a RAM problem, but this is a first for me, I've never heard of this problem before,

Does it freeze when you unplug it from the wall?
Anyway, I'd download the latest BIOS and video drivers.
If it doesn't help, call the reseller. Don't waste too much time on troubleshooting the new product, it should work flawlessly out of the box!

You know all of the times I unplugged it from the wall before moving it. Maybe that's the reason?

ok so I first tried testing it by "semi-violently" moving it around. No issues.

Then I unplugged it, moved it around, and plugged it back in 100 times, no issues. hmm... not sure what's going on here.

I have the most recent BIOS (204) and video drivers.
