    Hi,

    I was looking at getting a G51Vx and it has the white lid which i hate, if i got one would anyone be willing to swap lids? or does anyone know where i can get a black lid/screen? I tried seaching around without much luck, soo i thougt that i would try you guys.

    You could always spend 300 more dollars, and you'd be getting a black lid AND a more powerful laptop with a 1080p screen:

    The Best Buy version is the only version of the G51VX with a white lid, there are numerous resellers which all have it with the black lid...the only thing is they are all more expensive than the Best Buy version, but they are also more powerful to go along with that price tag.

    That isn't purely a black lid; it has the blue lightning bolts on the back (I ordered that one, I'll take a picture of the back if its waiting for me at home).
