    Good night!

My first post here, but since I follow the forum is 2 years ...

I would like to know who owns the G51vx-A1 and installed the win 7 x64... Was easy? How did? Only used the drivers from the cd of vista?

My G51 arrives here about 15 days ... I'm from Brazil and my sister will bring the trip that the U.S. is doing...

ps: sorry my english is poor

    Thank you

Everything is fully functional from the start of the fresh install, except some of the function key shortcuts - you need to install the drivers

I had no issues, I only installed the function key drivers, though I had to manually launch the installers on the CD, or you can download the Vista 64 drivers off Asus - the CD will tell you it doesnt support this version of Windows, but everything works fine

Keeping the bloatware to a minimum

i think the easiest is when you get your new laptop, dont format straight away, go inside your windows install drive (most likely c :) then save the preload64 folder.
install the atk driver through windows update, then everything you need from that folder (faster i guess rather than using the supplied dvd lol)
