    Hi everyone!

    I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade the ASUS G51vx-A1's processer from say a Q9000 to a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 / 2.83 GHz ?

    And altso if you guys knew a guide i could learn from?

    For the example you posted, no. I think think that's a desktop chip.

    The upgrades available to the A1 are the Q9100, Q9200, and QX9300. Or any T or P processor, but you said "upgrade".

    lol yea the only one i would even do is QX9300, but that is once the I7 mobile are out it costs much less+ when your warranty expires.
