I just bought my Asus G60 yesterday and I noticed that there is a clicking sound when you press the left side of the screen edge (I found out while positioning the laptop screen by holding the sides). I took it back to Best Buy and checked the display model and it did the exact same thing. Is the "clicking" sound a common thing for users of the G60???
If not, I'm taking this back tomorrow and having them open one straight from the box to see if that one clicks as well.
Thanks for the help in advance...

*bump* Here is the model number: G60JX-RBBX05
If someone else has one of these, please test it out and let me know. Just lightly squeeze the left side of the screen portion of the laptop near the rubber stopper.
Right now I have heard the crack sound on 2 but those are the only ones that I have been in contact with. Just trying to see if this is with all or anything to worry about in general.
Thanks -
Yup, does it on mine. I try to ignore it; if it gets really bad I'll pull the screen cover off and glue it.

Yes, also does on mine, both the left and right sides. I never noticed it before. I however have always opened my screen from the top rather than the middle.

I just bought one today and it only "clicks" on the left side and only in the middle. I honestly would never have noticed had I not seen this thread. It's not a big deal since I always open from the front.
G60 *click* sound?
