I want to put a bigger CPU say a x9100 or a T9900 and maybe a 280GTX MXM card is the cooling good enough for that. Reason is just because. I LIKE POWER but not paying for it in the Alienware and bigger laptops..

It will definitely support a "bigger" X9100 or T9900.
And the most powerful card Asus has right now is the GTX 260m. And since it uses a proprietary design, you can't take a GTX 280m from another machine and insert it. Won't fit. -
Thanks for the info.. I will be getting the x9100..

Why not the T9900? Runs cooler which is good for the G5/6*series. AFAIK you can still get the T9900 of the HP site for a good price.

You have a link to this CPU from HP because I can not find it on their website?

Thanks for all the help guys but I went with the x9100 got it for 270 shipped to me so I just could not see the t9900 being worth 70 bucks more... I leave the laptop plugged in all the time anyways..
G60 will it hold a bigger CPU and GPU?
