This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just purchased a G60JX and so far I love it!

    I will be transferring files from my old IBM Thinkpad R40 over the next few days.

    For the past 4-5 years, I rarely turned my R40 off. I would let it set on an end table next to my recliner.

    Does anyone foresee any problems with doing the same with the G60JX?
