    Is there a trick to getting this laptop to actually display black? My all black desktop background is a dark brownish grey at best. Even on an external monitor the display isn't black and this monitor is all black on my desktop pc video card.

    I've messed with every setting I can find and it simply will not do it. Am I missing something?
