I work at bestbuy and can get a great deal on our floor model G60vx. The only thing I noticed was that the keys/keyboard is kind of springy and not very solid. Is this normal? It is worse in the upper left side. The frame around the keys sort of moves down when you push on the keys. I wonder if I could buy it and claim this under warranty.

    Thanks in advanced.

Claim what under warranty? They will probably replace it with the same keyboard, i.e., same problem.

You could possibly add some padding underneath the keyboard to diminish the flexing, but that's not guaranteed to work (e.g., for my F6Ve, the metal plate under they keyboard plate is flexing and there's nothing I can do about that).

So is this "flexing" a known issue? That is what I am trying to figure out.

I believe the flexing is a common trait on the G60Vx model. I've had mine for over a month and it flexes a bit during use. You might try asking in this thread. A lot of G60Vx owners post there and could probably provide some insight.
