ok, so i got my g71 from best buy, got the 1202 drivers or whatever, and ran games fine and never had a problem with dropping frames. Then i got the 1301 drivers from asus live update, and my computer started the underclocking issue again, so I flashed the bios back to the 1202. Its still doing it apparently, i just havent noticed cause i was only playing wow the last few days and the gpu doesnt get hot for that (more of a cpu game)

    How can I fix this?
