    the one i got is friggin huge. Is there any way of getting a smaller one or something, so it fits in my bag?

    (by thee way, bag update- it cant hold more than 30 pounds. heard a ripping noise.. damn school books.)

    The Asus branded AC adapter is a tad bit smaller, however, it probably won't make much of a difference since the weight and size of the power adapter is relatively minuscule compared to your G71 laptop and books.

    If you were planning to invest in a new AC adapter, I'd suggest using that money to purchase a new and larger laptop bag instead.

    i have a quite large bag actually. its an Ibex

    yes its delta. Yes it is hot to the touch. i had my lappy plugged in for X days, and it smelled like smoke
