    G71GX-RX05 Direct Console?

    I was wondering on the G71GX is there the message thingy to show the cpu and ram and display a message? Cause when I go to direct console I cannot click on the message bar it's just locked.

    If you're referring to the OLED display above the keyboard, then there isn't one on the G71GX model. Although the previous G71G models had the OLED display, Asus was having supply issues with the OLED manufacture and opted to drop the display in the GX.
