thats got the 9800m gs in it
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gtx_260m_us.html is in the g71gx
    vs
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9800m_gs_us.html in the machine u showed us.

although I know that gta4 is a very processor heavy game, and this processor is slightly better than the dual core in the gx (not if u oc it i belive), and we got more ram.

I'm guessing if you went conservative with your settings, you could etch out 30fps, but its also a very unoptimized game for pc anyway.

The machine in the vid has got better cpu, weaker gpu and g71gx
vice versa, making me extremely curious about the actual fps the gx
can churn out. so Owners, would ya plz post some pics??

There is a patch for GTAIV that speeds the game up alot, so with the new patch and a better graphics card (260m GTX) over the 9800m GS (which is in the video), obviously the game is going to run way better on the G71GX-RX05. Crysis runs pretty well also if you use the CUDAATS mod (and why not, it looks better than "Stock" Very High settings while giving you better performance gains) with 35+ frames, check out Bob's benchmarks in the G71GX thread...
