    G71GX-RX05, can this support the q9000 or better quad?

    my brother has this laptop with the c2duo cpu but now he is interested in upgrading the cpu if possible. i am wondering what the best quad core cpu he can put in this thing?

    also, are there any detailed service manuals? i have taken laptops apart before but they each pose their own challanges so don't want to go in blind.

    looks like the q9100 has same TDU as q900 but with 12mb cache instead of the 6. would this be compatible without motherboard bios issues?

    i believe someone has put a qx9300 in it before but dont quote me on it.

    so anyone else know for sure? i would think the q9000 and qx9300 would be supported since they are the same tdp and socket?
