Asus is doing my head in currently with their email tech support.

I am trying to report 2 bugs with the BIOS on the G71V

1st is the same as the G50V where choosing "load setup defaults" really messes the settings up so much that the BIOS looses SATA4 port and attempts to use a TPM module that is not present along with double booting all the time.

The 2nd is a fault where enabling RAID in the BIOS disables the TurboMemory card. Intel have stated it will work on the chipset in the G71V with RAID enabled and that it sounds like a bug in the current BIOS that will need ASUS to fix.

First contact with Asus and I stated I had v207 of the BIOS and got a reply with "Please update to the 207 BIOS as found on our website".

Second contact I got a reply of "Please restore and if you still have problems then its a hardware fault" to which I have replied with what Intel told me about the chipset etc as I have been doing alot of reloads to find the exact cause of the problem.

I am now waiting for the next email back probably saying "Well, it works here when not using RAID".
