This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've got one on order from XoticPC, but am curious if anyone has received theirs yet and their initial thoughts on it.

    Not really an apples to apples comparison.

    Q1 - QX9300 (Quad Core @ 2.53)
    A2 - T9400 (Dual Core @ 2.53)

    Q1 - 9700M GT
    A2 - 9800M GS

    Q1 - 4GB DDR3 1333 (my understanding is that there are 3 SODIMM Sockets, so capapble of 6GB)
    A2 - 6GB DDR2 800

    But I will probably run and post some benchies.

    BTW, as others have said Justin @ XoticPC rocks. He helped me through my decision making process (over several e-mails and chats over 3 weeks) and also let me know that the Q1 was in stock. Placed my order the next day.
