    When on earth is G71 coming to stores? In Norway it has been confirmed over and over again, just to be discontinued. I am getting tired of this waiting game and this is currently the only laptop I consider as top of line price/quality/specs.

    My only other option is Acer 8930G, but I really dont wont to take that step.

    I could ofcoure purchase something more expensive but after my heating experience with an XPS 1730, i will never again touch high end GPU`s.

    So please, and info would be most, most welcome :)

    i know laptops are putting 3870's in laptop's i dont know which one's off hand. seeing you have sli thats wh you have so much heat. if you had 1 8800m GTX the heat would not be as bad. laptop's dont have as good cooling as desktop's

    i've been waiting patiently as well.

    local resellers tell me no sign of the A1 yet, but they were told an ETA of late September. well, that's almost here. poking around though, i'm also hearing mid-October.

    Would have bought it in a second but I think they concluded that this is just a G70 and that the stickers were misinterpreted as something way more powerful then what is actually is.

    And, having first hand experience with SLI laptops, I think I will stick to single GPU`s for all reasons. I dont need video like graphics in games to have fun.

    Sigh, settling for mid october.. then I go, siiiiigh, for the Acer...
