I have noticed that my G72GX has been sluggish to startup. I am too the point where I am just going to wipe the entire HD do a clean install of Window 7 Ultimate.

I am assuming I will loose express gate by doing this. I have booted into express gate maybe twice so that is not a big deal. The CD that came with the computer should have all the drivers I need correct? I will want the overclock feature installed.

Is there anything I should know that might not work if I do this. I have done fresh installs before and found that sometimes I can't get all the drivers I want, this was with HP though.

I did a fresh Win7 Ultimate x64 install on mine. Before I did though I downloaded all the necessary drivers and files from ASUS' support site and put them on a USB stick. Then after the reinstall I just installed all the drivers etc, including expressgate without any issues.

    Thanks!

I have the driver CD, so I can install everything from that. I'm not really worried about express gate.

Does the computer seem to run faster?
