It's happened twice today at boot: a BSOD. I never had one of these with my G71 and I'm starting to become concerned. Is this common with the G72? Below is the error that Windows 7 gave me when I started the laptop again:

Quick google search of your BCCode and it reveals its a video drivers issue. Try booting in safe mode and uninstalling your old drivers, reboot, re-install from your factory disk and then go to the video cards website and update the drivers via there services.

That actually validates my suspicion. I installed a mod for Sims 3 that required placing a modified d3dx9_31.dll in a folder. I removed the file and the mod just now, thinking that it might be the cause. I didn't get these BSODs until after I installed this mod. I'll let you know if I get another one.
