    are any of you guys having problems with the laptop locking up? its done it twice now i dono what the deal is my temps are fine. when i was playing wow for an hour my video was at 70C and my cpu was at 54c.

    Hi Swift, have you solved the lock up problem? My order on G72GX in BB is ready for me to pick up but I dont like to risk having a problematic nb after reading your thread. Thanks

    So far yes i did a full wipe out with my own copy of windows 7 and loaded only drivers and no software and they have a Bios update now seems to be running fine if it does it again i will be taking it back.

    Thank you for the input, Swift. I am wondering whether the bios update alone can solve the problem or not cuz apparently I don't have an additonal copy of win7. Or if you can pinpoint the application which seemed to be the culprit it would very much be appreciated.
