This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     GGDR3 or DDR2 in these models?

    I've been looking at some ASUS models that are interesting.

    ASUS F5SR
    ASUS X5DAB
    ASUS X61SL

    The problem with these though, is that ASUS (nor the store) don't say if it is DDR2 or GDDR3 VRAM. To me, it makes a huge difference.
    Does anyone here know?

    you have to search for reviews. but asus is known to use ddr2 memory in it's low end models.

    Can't find any reviews on them (probably because they are made for a smaller market or something like that). I'll take your warning into advice though.
