    Hi,
I finally have unlocked bios with TONS of available options to customize. (thx for the unnamed helper)
My question is, has anyone been able to set 6core turbo speed to 4.1ghz with this processor (i7 8750h)

    few pics.

3.9 is the all core turbo for that chip and is locked.

I'm just saying that things change. Socket 771 xeons were not suppose to work with socket 775 motherboards.
and many other examples that community can make somethings to make cpu's perform better and/or in motherboard that was not suppose to work with that cpu.

I'm just curios, since I can change the ratios from bios to 41 and mby it's possible to remove the lock also? :)

    No.

That mod required you to isolate some pins, and swap the CPU. Neither of which is in play here, all you did was allow yourself more control of your BIOS, which is good of course, but not enough to break the CPU's hard coded limit of 3.9Ghz all core turbo.

41 is just the single core turbo.

    Hi mate,
Where exactly did you get the unlocked bios?
Did you flash it or is it a key combination to unlock BIOS such as MSI trick on MSI GS65 laptop?
    Thanks

    Hi,

use grub to remove the first lock.

You need to dump the bios and analyze, and flash over the same bios with few things changed, there is many "intel bios guards" in various directories and sub-directories.

also had little help from a friend from asia.

Ok so you had to flash a custom BIOS then...
I'll avoid that for now as it's still covered by warranty.
    Thanks for the answer.

I have a GL703GM which the Supervisor section of the bios is locked, I am trying to set up various versions of Linux on it , and generating UEFi keys enrolling etc is painful and very error prone.
